St. Edward Catholic School is a fully accredited parochial school in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Founded in 1972, St. Edward is the oldest Catholic school in Spring and our purpose is to provide a quality Catholic education to enable each child to reach their highest potential.
Our school teaches students according to the pillars of love, reason, and service. In partnership with parents, we take a holistic approach to education so that each student is nurtured spiritually, intellectually, and physically. Students who come from St. Edward are not only prepared for academic success but to be Catholic models in the community.
Feel free to call or email us if you would like to schedule an in-person tour. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our curriculum or support programs. We look forward to speaking with you about our approach to partnering with parents in the sacred work of educating children.
"St. Edward Catholic School has been a blessing to me and my family. As an alumnus from the 80's, I always knew that I would send my children here. I will always remember the great teachers and staff who were dedicated to my spiritual growth. I am happy to say that my children are now having the same experiences that I did. The teachers are caring and compassionation to every single child. The Principal, Mrs. Makel, is dedicated to our school and is always there to support us. In addition to loving the teachers, my children have enjoyed being involved in volleyball and art club. I know that my children are getting a well-rounded, Catholic education that will be the foundation of their life-long Catholic faith."

“To say that this school has been probably one of our biggest blessings as a family is an understatement. [Our child] has come out of her shell, she is thriving, she is loved, she is happy, and she is excelling.“

"My family is incredibly blessed and fortunate to have our children attend St. Edward Catholic School. We are most appreciative of the small classroom sizes and the way the curriculum includes and supports Catholic teachings. Our greatest joy is that our children are excited to attend school each and everyday!"
